Space Nazis From the Future!!!

OK.  From The Avengers to World War Z it seems to be something for everyone in theaters this year. There’s a plethora of Sci-Fi, Action and Comedy movies slated to come out in 2012, but none seems to combine the three genres like, Iron Sky. In Iron Sky, Hitler had set up a colony on the dark side of the moon, complete with a mega-base and flying saucer armada, back in 1945. There the Nazis would lay waiting for their day of vengeance, to invade the earth and claim it in the name of the Third (or even fourth) Reich. Of course, it’s up to our heroes to make sure that doesn’t happen.  I’m not sure but after watching the trailer a few times it appears our action packed do-gooder is a Black astronaut name James Washington (Christopher Kirby). SF Signal reports: Six years in the making, Iron Sky — a near-future film that puts nazis on the moon — will premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival this weekend. The movie opens 4/4/12 but it is unlikely that it will have a theatrical release in the States. I’m surprise there hasn’t been a cry of anti-Semitism, perhaps everyone’s preoccupied watching Iran.
