'ASCENSION' UPDATE

UPDATE to my 3/16/12 post mentioning an upcoming film pairing the writer, Warren Ellis with actor, Idris Elba called, 'Ascension': 

After speaking to Warren Ellis personally (via Twitter) some time back, I have been assured that speculations of the 'Ascension' film are purely the product of internet gossip. Sorry folks, as much as I can only hope he was sitting in a pub somewhere, one too many in, and just sent that tweet as a head fake. I'm more inclined to believe he was telling the truth. Regardless, it's still not a bad premise so somebody, somewhere make it happen.
